Yellow Jackets

Yellow Jackets tend to build their nests underground commonly from old rodent burrow holes, they also will find gaps and holes in the walls of buildings, in eaves, gaps near windows, gaps in siding and any other area they can gain access into the structure. Yellow jackets can be extremely aggressive and are very protective of their nests. They have the ability to sting over and over again which can cause serious risks to anyone with allergies to stinging insects. Yellow jackets should never be treated without the proper gear and professional expertise.

Bald faced hornets

Bald faced hornets are larger wasps. They are just a little less than an inch long. They are black with white stripes on their faces. Their nests are usually hanging in trees and large shrubs, typically above 3 feet off the ground and can be rather large. The size of beach balls can be seen as we get later into the end of summer and beginning of fall. Their colonies consist of 100-400 members during peak season. They are very protective and aggressive when approaching their nest. If you have Bald Faced hornets on your property, call us today for the same day available.

Paper Wasps

Paper Wasps are around 3/4 of an inch long. They are dark brown with yellow stripes. They are usually in shaded areas, under the eaves, under stairs, in electrical boxes and many other areas that are shaded around the home. They usually have multiple nests in the same area. The nests are easily distinguished from other species. Their nests are actually opened cells.
